Writing for Five-Minute-Friday today, where we’re sharing all about: build.

GO.

I recently joined a prayer ministry called 24/7 Eternal Word. It has been an incredible blessing. The concept of the ministry is for each one who feels led to join to choose a time slot of one hour during which they are able to pray. The aim is to fill all 24 hours in the day.

We pray only from the Word, though – the idea being to come into agreement with God in what He says in His Word – and in this way, to build the walls of His Kingdom. But that isn’t all that we build.

During my three weeks of being a member of this ministry, the Word has steadily been building me up into a more confident and bold prayer warrior. And I’ve stumbled across some priceless gems of Scripture I have either not read before, or have not realised their value. My knowledge and understanding of many verses has also deepened.

However, the most valuable reward and treasure I’ve received is building intimacy in my relationship with God. And with the other prayer warriors on the wall.

STOP.
